[tg] Does TG support 1Gbps traffic

The problems may be not be in TG perse. Our experimentation shows that TG 
was able to generate traffic upto 80-90Mbps, after which we started hitting 
the network (100Mbps ethernet) and other system bottlenecks (such as timer
granularity, system call cost etc.). So it is not clear that given the way 
it is designed, it can pump upto Gbps.
