[sigcomm] Two postdoc positions available at Singapore

[Yuen Chau]

1)      One postdoc position on Smart Grid is available immediately at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).



The objective of this research project is to work on demand response management and energy modelling. Specific tasks include scheduling, optimization, and distributed algorithms for energy management.



Qualification:

- PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, operational research, or related areas

- Strong publications record





2)      One 3-year postdoc position on indoor localization is available immediately at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).



The successful candidate is expected to work on the following topics:

-          Indoor Positioning using Sensor-fusion with Smart Devices

-          Infrastructureless indoor positioning



Qualification:

- PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Robotic, or related areas

- Strong hands on experience





Self-motivated candidates with a PhD degree (or having submitted his/her thesis) in electrical and electronic engineering, computer science / engineering or relevant discipline, and a good track record of publications in the relevant areas are encouraged to apply.
