The following addresses changes to the TRILL PAS. Note that there are 
two current issues, neither of which is critical but both would be 
useful to confirm (see notes below).

An updated ID has been posted and should appear shortly.

   remove caveat about use of terminology; it was needed only while
   the doc was in process

2.2 convergence under reconfiguration
     remove question about timescales; this doc does not
     introduce the issue of convergence timescale in a new context

2.4 other ethernet extensions
     removed clarification question about 802.1v

     added note as to which extensions subsume others
     (D includes w, Q includes v and s)

3.1 no change to link capablities
     removed question about 802.1v (as per above)
     changed to lower-case v

3.3 forwarding loop mitigation
     remove question about serialized / unioned traces, noted
     that these terms not created by this doc

3.4 spanning tree management
     the need for pictures here is omitted; the point appears to
     have been sufficiently made without such pictures

3.5 multiple attachments
     removed the caveat that this section might be omitted

     CONSENSUS QUESTION: since no argument to the contrary has been made,
     I would like to request a consensus check that this section
     should be retained

3.8 optimizations
     removed the assertion that more needs to be said here

     section should be used in its current form

3.9 internet architecture issues
     completed citation for router-router IGMP

5 security considerations
   completed citation for ipv6 secure nd

7 conclusions
   this section has been removed as it was vacuous and is not needed

ref 6
     removed ref to 802.1w, since it is in 802.1D;
     added note on 802.1D ref

     replaced rfc 2461 with rfc 4861
