And solving that problem would be a fine issue for the IEEE 802.3 HSSG.
There would be a similar benefit for any pt-pt 100 gbps link, as an
optimization. However, this is at the level of optimizing a single link;
unless this is a pt-pt device, there would be other links with similar
lookup requirements, so the benefit would be fractional anyway.
This remains, as a result, (a) in the margins of a (b) future problem.
